Nutrition Talks for Week of March 22nd

This week we talked about the importance of water for our health and we need to drink more of it to stay hydrated: help us stay alert and focused! We also learned that water content is high in fresh vegetbles and fruits. We sampled fresh snap peas and dehydrated snap peas. The kids like them so well that there have been many requests for the dehydrated snap peas of which can be found at our local natural food co-op at 4th and Washburn.

We discussed many different local restaurant menus and how we can make good choices when we eat out with our family. We picked out good choices on their menus and some "poor" choices. The kids really enjoyed these discussions and

    Just dropping a line to let you know I can and will be more than happy to do some sort of activity for the kids. I was even thinking about something from my gym for at the end of the run season to where I can bring in my trampolines and mats and my boss and I can run a fun activity for the kids and the trampolines.
